So you love our books, now what!? You can shop anytime, but did you know that the best way to build your home library is through hosting? Yes!! You should host an Usborne Books & More Party! The Usborne Books & More Host Rewards are so generous! If you’re on a budget, are an avid book lover, or just enjoy the ease of online parties, let me walk you through the host rewards program. It’s SO fun to receive those free and half-off books in the mail!!
What are Usborne Books & More’s Hostess Rewards?
Host rewards are earned based upon party sales! You earn free books and half-priced books through your friends and family purchasing off of your party link. Rewards begin at $10 in free books and $25 in half-off books once your party hits just $100 in sales. The rewards increase from there! For every $50 sold, you get another $10 in free books.
How can I earn even more free books?
Every month, there is an opportunity for a host to earn EVEN MORE free books. These are the monthly specials! For example, in May 2021, once your party hits $400 in sales, plus one of your friends or family opts to host their own party, you get an extra $75 in free books! Every month offers a different bonus. Generally speaking, your consultant will only know the current monthly special or the upcoming month, but feel free to ask just in case!
What else do I need to know about host rewards?
While the books are free and half-off, they don’t ship for free. (The company LOVES rewarding hosts with free books, but books are heavy, guys). So hosts are still responsible for a $2 hostess fee, shipping charges, and any applicable tax. Shipping caps at 8% of the value of the total books. Not bad for heavy boxes of literary goodness!! For example, if you lived in Oregon and earned $100 in free books, you would only pay $8! WHAT!?
What exactly do I have to do as a host?
You are in charge of inviting your friends and family! Your consultant does the rest! We don’t believe in mass inviting or bugging your friends, so messaging individually is the way to go! I wrote a whole post here on how to have a great party.
